Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich described Gaza as a “real estate bonanza” on Wednesday, saying Israel is in talks with the United States negotiating how the two countries will divide up the enclave.

“We are checking how this becomes a real estate bonanza — I’m not joking — and pays for itself,” Smotrich said, adding, “I’ve begun negotiations with the Americans, and I’m saying this seriously, because we paid a lot of money for this war. We need to work out how we share percentages on the land. The demolition phase, the first stage of urban renewal, we’ve already done. Now we need to build.”

Presumably a Dubai-style renovation in collaboration with the USA would see Gaza transformed into a giant theme park and all the displaced Palestinians - those that are left that is - being given priority to return to their homeland and given plum jobs as hotel cleaners, maids and pool attendants. But not hotel security obviously.

A big tourist attraction could be a replica of the King David Hotel that will be blown up every Monday.

A new airport - perhaps named Bibi International - could become a regional hub to fly in the high rollers and movers and shakers.

Not since Atlantic City in the 1980s has Trump has a real-estate opportunity like this.

Tremendous!
