Ukraine's President Zelensky met with President Trump and his VP J D Vance in a feisty meeting that resulted in Zelensky being thrown out of the White House, no US-Ukraine mineral deal being signed and staffers eating Zelensky's lunch.
Unfortunately Zelensky tried to take on both Trump and Vance on his own.
A big mistake.
And he didn't have a real diplomat, like Sergei Lavrov, to back him up and steer him in the right direction.
Nor did he have an invitation to a boondoggle from a King to flatter his opponents.
Now all he has to fall back on is European 'boots on the ground' and jets in the air.
But the Ukraine is not Serbia or Libya and even a comedian should understand that NATO taking on a 'peer' enemy like Russia is a different kettle of fish.
Oh the tangled webs we weave.
