As Europe tries to gain full support for stealing Russia’s frozen assets to pay for Ukraine’s ‘reparations’ and the UK government wants to steal the money gained from selling Chelsea football club (because the former owner was Russian), it seems that stealing has become the new normal.

The morality appears to be: We don’t like you so it’s OK to steal stuff from you. 

So for example, if a ‘right-wing thug’ doesn’t like an immigrant it’s OK to steal his phone because if it’s OK for governments to do it then it’s OK for him/her too.

It's called 'setting a precedent'. All these lawyerly leaders should be well aware of this fact.

President Trump announced a “total blockade of all sanctioned oil tankers going into, and out of, Venezuela” on Truth Social on Tuesday, saying that “Venezuela is completely surrounded by the largest Armada ever assembled in the History of South America. It will only get bigger, and the shock to them will be like nothing they have ever seen before — Until such time as they return to the United States of America all of the Oil, Land, and other Assets that they previously stole from us.”

The MSM is remarkably relaxed about this stealing and is quite happy to report on the stealing with little or no mention of the fact that it is stealing. 

Presumably it’s OK if the stealing is done by a democracy or the USA or the EU with its much-vaunted ‘values’ but not if it’s done by someone else who doesn’t obey the so-called ‘rules-based order’, which of course is a joke.

What kind of rules-based order condones stealing?

 The kind that says do as I say, not as I do. 

The kind of nonsense an exasperated parent says to a child and now the kind of nonsense we have to expect from the democratically-elected governments today.

It’s all part of a culture that also says it’s OK to shoplift if you are a ‘victim’ of social oppression because it's the rest of the society ‘oppressing’ you that will pay for the costs of your stealing.

This is the primrose path to the everlasting bonfire.
