In a major prime time interview on US TV, when asked how he would feel if he lost the election to Trump, President Biden said:

I'll feel as long as I gave it my all and I did the goodest job as I know I can do, that's what this is about.

The superlative of good is normally known as 'best' but the President is known for having his own homespun vocabulary.

As they say in South Carolina: Bless your heart!

Elsewhere the President claimed that no-one had asked him to have any tests for his cognitive competence or at least he couldn't remember it if they had.

He seems to have already forgotten what Nancy Pelosi said on MSNBC, soon after the debate:

I think it's a legitimate question to say, is this an episode or is this a condition?

When people ask that question, it's completely legitimate — of both candidates.

When asked about this quote, Trump reportedly said: Who cares what Nicki Haley thinks!

VP Kamala Harris wisely told FNN:

What we want is what can be, unburdened by what has been.

Shakespeare couldn't have put it better.
