As a reward for UK PM Starmer's support for the 'special relationship', US President Trump has announced that USAID (US Agency for International Destabilisation) funding originally intended for Ukraine will now be diverted to help Britain through its latest fiscal crisis.

Funding promised for 2025 is over $5 billion and includes:

  • Over $2 billion for School Employee Salaries
  • Over $2 billion to support Loans to UK businesses
  • Over $1 billion to support Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs)

Internally Displaced Persons include many young women who were the target of grooming gangs and now have to move to other parts of the UK and others emigrating from Clacton and Great Yarmouth to Bendidorm and the Costas.

UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves has called the new funding a 'a godsend' but said she would have liked a little more to help with filling the potholes in Britain's roads.

But you can't have everything right?
