The UK's Daily Telegraph reports:

According to a new report, America’s energy industry has emerged as the main beneficiary of the war in Ukraine, as the country’s gas suppliers have filled the void left by Russia.

According to the Telegraph:

Yet, while willing to give up apparent control of Europe’s energy market, what the Russian president didn’t foresee was to whom he was giving up the keys.

Excuse me?

Obviously Putin and his advisers, apparently along with the Daily Telegraph, had failed to realise the implications of Anthony Blinken's 1987 book Ally versus Ally.

As with any war, it's wise to ask the question: Cui bono?

So far it's clearly not the Ukraine but the US and EU MICs and the US LNG industry. Go figure.
