The EU is rumoured to be about to make a major defence policy announcement.

EU spokesperson Ursula Von Richthofen told FNN:

As you know, the greatest threat to the EU is not ineptitude but Vladimir Putin's Russia, which has been threatening Europe ever since the end of the cold war when the USSR unilaterally withdrew all its forces from Europe, allowing Germany to re-unite.

Given the Ukraine's apparent success on the battlefiled against the invading Russian Army, the EU has decided to hand over all its land and air weaponry to the Ukrainians and to make them the official EU Army to fight any future Russian agression on our behalf.

This will enable us to cut our reliance on the USA to defend us and instead rely on the Ukrainians to protect us in the future as we definitely don't want to fight those crazy Russian ourselves. look what happened last time even after we killed millions of them.

The UK is likely to make a similar announcement.
