The debate over US funding for Ukraine got personal after Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) made an intriguing offer to the UK foreign secretary, Lord Cameron:

Kiss my ass!

Apparently, a lady friend of Lord Cameron's responded by holding up a Cotswold cucumber and saying 'Suck on this bitch'.

A spokesperson told FNN:

This is personal for Lord Cameron. His grandfather stormed the beaches of Normandy under covering fire from US warships.

Of course D-Day was only possible after the Red Army had sustained horrific casualties breaking the back of the Wehrmacht in the East by tying up and destroying whole armies and marching many of Hitler's finest off to Siberia.

Kind of ironic really given the rationale for Cameron's comment.

When he heard the news, Donald Trump was reported as saying That's my girl! ... and offering to buy MTG some new underwear at a NYC department store.
