The New York Times has called for a "Reality Czar" to be appointed in the USA, presumably to head up a new Ministry of Truth, to help prevent the spread of disinformation.

The Reality Czar will work in a new 300m high building located in Kansas. But instead of being built from glittering white concrete, as Orwell's Ministry of Truth was, it will be built from a gleaming emerald material and managed by Oz Building Management Inc.

A spokesperson for Oz Building Management told FNN: 

The new Ministry of Truth will be controlled by Jen "The Wizard" Psaki who will ensure that all the right levers get pulled from behind a curtain to maintain transparent truthfulness at every White House press conference.

A spokesperson for the GAAFTIA commented:

We don't think a human reality Czar is needed as we have already perfected many algorithms trained to be "economical" with the truth.

Our AI truth bots are definitely the way forward when it comes to manipulating the news to suit our own purposes and agendas in ways that no human can fully understand.
