There have been calls on social media for compulsory background checks following a zoom call made by Colorado Republican congresswoman Lauren Boebart.

Ms. Boebart, who runs the Shooters Grill restaurant in Rifle, Colorado and is a staunch advocate of the US 2nd Amendment right to bear arms, also takes her Glock to congress.

It's a good job she wasn't here when the Capitol building was invaded as there might have been more casualities since it doesn't look like she would take any crap and certainly wouldn't fear for her life like AOC apparently did an another building altogether.

A spokesperson for Twitter's Room Raters account commented:

This outrageous use of an insecure gun shelf as a background for a Zoom call is a clear justification for compulsory background checks to take place before every call. We call upon Zoom to "fact-check" every callers background before every call on its service.

Former boss of accounting firm BOGOF, Bill "Battler" Heslop told FNN:

F**kin A! That's the kind of woman who should be running my local chinky. Then anyone who tried to hold up the place will get a chestful of number 45 - ammunition that is.

A Zoom spokesperson commented:

Since Joe Biden took office we have seen massive demand for backgrounds showing drone strikes on Afghan weddings and the last moments of Colonel Gaddaffi but this is OK as the demand is coming from bona-fide Democrats.
