Chinese and Russian hackers using AI are being blamed for a mass hacking of smart meters in UK homes.

A spokesperson for the Just Ignore Smart Meters (JISM) co-operative explained:

Consumers are being pushed to install smart meters in their homes by energy companies but they are not being fully informed of the risks.

This latest hack involves your energy being diverted to power a Russian armaments factory east of the Urals and a chain of Chinese takeaways located in the North of England.

Consumers have been faced with skyrocketing monthly bills of up to £5000 as their energy is being diverted by these cunning hackers.

That's why we recommend pay-as-you-go meters where you have to put a £1 coin in to keep the flow of energy going.

No coin, no energy and nothing to hack. Simples!
