There is a deep disillusionment in this country at the moment, and I would say a growing sense of despair about whether anyone is capable of turning this country round. 

He can say that again...good job then that he is an'optimist' who sees 'green shoots' all around him.

The one in-one out migrant policy continues to show its versatility after convicted sex offender Hadush Kebatu first went into prison and then was accidently released before being re-arrested and imprisoned again. 

Apparently he was found in Dalston (East London), which probably explains why he made efforts himself to get back into prison, but shows how it's easier to get into the UK as an illegal migrant than it is to get back into prison after being accidentally released.
