Following the decision by Denbighshire council in Wales to make Welsh the default language in Rhyl car park ticket machines, other local authorities have announced similar moves to replace English to 'localize' their ticket machines:
- In Scotland Gaelic will be used
- In Peckham (London) Kwanza will be used
- In the international City of London, Esperanto will be used
Councils are recommending the use of Google Translate to help parkers navigate the new languages if they are unfamiliar with them.
Some counties, like Zummerzet in the West Country, are expected to introduce their own dialects to parking machines to which Adge Cutler (RIP) of the Wurzels might have said: Don't tell I, tell ee!
