Tesla is rumoured to be planning to build 12 gigafactories around the world, and the UK, home of Captain Scarlet, is hoping to get one of them.

Gigafactories are large scale electric vehicle manufacturing facilities designed to build Tesla cars and batteries.

But a spokesperson for Tesla told FNN:

If we build a gigafactory in the UK it will be used to build SPVs (Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle) for our future colonization of Mars. Elon has ordered that all SPVs will be painted in a special matt red colour to blend in with the Martian landscape.

A spokesperson for the Mysterons commented:

If Musk goes ahead with his SPV factory then we will send Captain Black and some Daleks to destroy it! This is the voice of the Mysterons!
