Gordon Brown, a former unelected Prime Minister of the UK - there are so many these days - has kicked off the 2024 US election interference season with a bang.

Mr Brown is most remembered in the UK for calling Gillian Duffy, one of his own prospective voters in Rochdale - home of Asian grooming gangs that were ignored by the authorities for years due to concerns over political incorrectness - a 'bigoted woman'.

According to the BBC at the time: Mrs Duffy, a life-long Labour supporter, had challenged Mr Brown on issues including immigration from eastern Europe and the national debt.

Now, according to Sky News, Mr Brown has popped up to warn the US electorate:

If Donald Trump were elected, he’s promised a 10% tariff on good (sic), so you've immediately got a trade war.

He wants to leave the World Bank and the IMF and all the international institutions that are responsible for trying to get international cooperation.

We don't know what he's going to do in Ukraine.

So I think we've got to tell the Americans that we in Europe are really worried about what could be the consequence of this Trump administration.

This blatant interference, obviously intended to scare voters in the USA, also comes on the back of the EU confirming that it is preparing contingency plans in the event of Trump winning the next election.

Australian pollster Bill "Gallup" Heslop told FNN:

Look. You pommie bastards just don't get it. Brown is obviously a Putin stooge.

Somehow the Russians have something on him and are using him as their proxy so they can begin interfering, once again, in the US elections.

But what they seem to have forgotten is that the USA doesn't listen to a word the UK says so their latest interference effort is bound to be ineffective.

And there was no Mr Brown character in Mary Poppins so most Americans have no idea who he is anyway.

Hey Muriel! Fetch me a tinnie. I'm parched.
