Hot on the heels of Canada and Greenland as candidates for the 51st & 52nd states, President Trump has suggested that the USA takeover and rebuild Gaza as part of a 'long term ownership position' (which makes it sound like a stock he is betting will go up in value) and that the people who call Gaza home should be moved somewhere else - just not to Florida.

He plans to make Gaza the 'Riviera of the Middle East'.

Perhaps he has forgotten that the last Riviera of the Middle East was Beirut and look what's happened to that.

Maybe Gaza will be 'repurposed' into a new Disneyland with some kind of Lawrence of Arabia theme park, which would put a Disneyland within easy traveling distance of Israelis who would then not have to go to their alternative 'homeland' - as Amy Schumer put it - i.e. Florida.

According to the President:

Everybody I've spoken to (presumably in Israel and in the US Israel lobby) loves the idea of the United States owning that piece of land, developing and creating thousands of jobs.

According to Sky News:

Mr Trump was also asked whether he should get the Nobel Peace Prize.

He said: "They will never give me a Nobel Peace Prize. It's too bad. I deserve it, but they will never give it to me."
