In an obvious attempt to contribute to the build up of Kamala Harris and minimise the impact of the assassination attempt on former President Trump, the FBI is investigating whether Trump's ear was in fact hit by a bullet.
A spokesperson explained:
The fact that a man with a rifle was shot dead on a nearby rooftop is not enough to explain why Trump lost a bit of his ear, one person was shot dead and others were injured in the audience by flying bullets.
After all, the sunflower guy ... Van Gogh ... cut his own ear off right? So let's not jump to conclusions.
There are many other reasons why Trump's ear could have been injured, for example:
- someone on the podium with a catapult fired a piece of popcorn at him
- Trump cut his ear while shaving pre-event and a bit just happened to fall off while he was talking
- Trump's ear was bitten by flying dentures after a person behind him was hit by the shooter
See what I mean? Anything could have happened. And that's what the FBI is here for - to rigorously eliminate possibilities.
