NatWest boss Alison Rose has resigned after it has become clear that she breached privacy rules in relation to her discussion of Nigel Farage with a BBC activist.
A spokesperson for a leading "private" bank told FNN:
The fact that we are a "private" bank just means we keep our own activities private, not those of our customers.
I had no idea you were supposed to keep information about customers banking arrangements a private matter.
I've been discussing the accounts of our customers over brandy at the dinner table for years!
What else is there to talk about but the affairs of all those deplorables and disingenuous grifters that bank with us!
Former Australian banker Bill "QE" Heslop commented:
It's high time that the banks were de-bunked. Good on yer Nigel, you pommie bastard!
Hey Muriel. fetch me a tinnie. I'm parched!
