Russian drones are everywhere - or at least that's what the MSM would like us to think.

The BBC reports:

Copenhagen and Oslo airports forced to close temporarily due to drone sightings

...

Asked by reporters on Monday if the drones were of Russian origin, Deputy Police Inspector Jakob Hansen said he could not confirm or deny this.

In a social media post later, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky referenced "Russia's violation" of Nato airspace in Copenhagen on 22 September, but did not indicate a source for the information.

Now maybe Russian agents are flying drones next to airports 'to test NATO' - who knows?

But the fact is that drones are a nuisance and all kinds of people get their jollies from flying them where they shouldn't.

What the authorities should be doing - instead of blaming Russia - is setting up drone defences at major airports that simply shoot down any drone seen. That way at least the people who are flying them maliciously or for fun would soon stop.

In the UK, the law of trespass permits drones overflying your property as this excellent Prettys article points out.

Although note also this Gatehouse Chambers article.

Given that drones are clearly now a weapon of war, who wants them flying over your property let alone near airports or any other important infrastructure.

The laws need changing to protect everyone and not just from Russians.
