Following the US Presidential debate on CNN last night, the US PGA has suggested that elections are abandoned and instead the president decided by a new golf tournament.
A spokesperson explained:
Based on last night's debate, it's clear that we need a better way to decide the leader of the free world than democratic elections that are always subject to accusations of fraud.
This is why the PGA has suggested that a better way to decide who should be president is to base it on a 'best of three' golf tournament.
Two rounds will be held in the home states of the presidential hopefuls and the final round in a foreign state mutually agreed by the candidates, but almost certainly likely to be Israel.
Handicaps will not be considered and both candidates will be required to carry their own golf bags to avoid any claims of caddy interference with the results. This is not Goldfinger!
In the event of a draw, the presidency will be decided on the toss of a coin.
