Sky News reports on President Trump's continuing claim for Greenland:
Mr Trump questioned Denmark's claim to the autonomous territory, saying Denmark was "very far away" from Greenland despite being part of the country's kingdom.
"A boat landed there 200 years ago or something. They say they have rights to it," Mr Trump said. "I don't know if that's true. I don't think it is, actually."
Maybe Trump is forgetting his history again?
After all a boat landed on the East coast of what eventually became the USA a few hundred years ago and that was claimed by Britain despite this 'New World' being 'very far away' and populated by lots of Native-Americans at the time.
In any case, FNN has learned that Trump may now be focusing his attention on another landmass - iceberg number A23a currently floating off South Georgia.
A spokesperson explained:
While Canada and Greenland dither about becoming the 51st state, the President is making another bold move by annexing iceberg A23a, making it the first 'popup' state in US history.
The President intends to harvest the water from the berg as it melts in order to replenish California's water reservoirs with pristine Antarctic water for use the next time Malibu burns down.
MAGA wins again!
