According to news channel MSN (Main Stream Nonsense), Jill Biden has judged as a nonstarter the suggestion by GOP presidential hope Nikki Haley that any politician over age 75 submit to a mental competency test.

Instead, she thinks it should apply from 30 years old!

Mrs Biden is quoted as saying: How many 30-year-olds could travel to Poland, get on the train?

Yes, FNN agrees this is shocking. A recent poll suggests that some Americans under 40 think that Poland is a suburb of Chicago and therefore you can indeed travel to Poland by train from the USA.

However, as her husband has known difficulty getting on and off aircraft so it's entirely possible he could also be challenged by stepping on and off a rail carriage.

Anyway, the Poles were taking no chances. The train taken by President Biden to the Ukraine - aka 'Rail-Force One'  - had a special 'platform escalator' built for the door to the President's personal carriage  - a kind of mini Stannah lift.

Despite being proposed by a former US Ambassador to the UN, the UN is unlikely to introduce mental competency tests as otherwise there could be no repeat of the infamous 'weapons of mass destruction' speech by Colin Powell to justify the illegal war in Iraq. Or the famous 'we have prevailed' announcement by George W Bush made as Iraq slipped into post-prevailed chaos.

Former President Trump has also come out against mental competency tests and is reported to have said:

Metal competency tests? They are a really bad thing folks. All metal rusts eventually so what's the point? It's just another Wuhan-Warrior tactic to destroy the US steel industry. So come on everybody. Let's MAGA!
