The Archbishopric of Canterbury has announced a new initiative to increase the number, diversity and inclusion of Sunday church congregations by making an effort to attract more people from the BHAM community.

The BHAM community is growing fast in today's "modern Britain" as people search for spiritual solace from differing beliefs and faiths.

A spokesperson for the Archbishop told FNN:

For too long, we in the Church of England have been ignoring the BHAM community and it has become clear that our congregations comprise dwindling numbers of old, white Christians stuck with their legacy faith. By embracing the BHAM community we can increase attendance and diversity and expand our inclusion beyond the Christian world.

For FFN readers not familiar with the BHAM TLA, it stands for:

  • Buddhist
  • Humanist
  • Atheist
  • Methodist/Mormon/Muslim

On hearing the news, the Pope and the Rev. T D Jakes sent their blessings.
