Britain has always been a biscuit nation with 'tea and biccies' being a national pursuit. But this is now under threat as 'Gen-Z' opts for more savoury snacking.
Instead of the regular three meals a day, which apparently nobody has time for while working from home in a onesie, a spokesperson for Gen-Z told FNN:
No-one has the time for a sit-down meal these days as it interferes with tweeting, taking selfies, browsing porn and 'influencing'. Instead, our generation prefers snacking 16 times a day on healthy snacks such mini pork pies, onion bhajis, cheese-toasties and pop tarts.
We think this regular snacking makes us much more productive. After all, who wants a long, leisurely French lunch in this day and age?
Former Australian gourmet Bill "Ramsay" Heslop commented:
It's a mystery to me how this kind of snacking can be more productive. Everytime I eat something like a savoury samosa I need an hour in the bathroom to fart it out. Otherwise the stench in my office cubicle would be unbearable. Hey Muriel! Fetch me a tinnie. I'm parched.
