The UK experienced its first driverless bus trial on the Railair route from Woking to Heathrow airport.

One of the passengers told FNN:

Just after we left Woking railway station the bus driver halted at a bus stop and got off, telling us that he was going on strike.

As he jumped from the bus, he jolted it into gear and the next thing we knew the bus shot away, reaching Heathrow in record time after speeding at over 100mph along the hard shoulder of the M25.

Apparently the vehicle's GPS took over and managed to navigate us all the way to the airport without a driver.

When we arrived, we distinctly heard the GPS say: You have reached your destination. Man! That was fucking awesome!
