In response to protests from the residents of Venice, Jeff Bezos has switched his wedding venue to Hull, England - also the site of a new Amazon distribution center

A spokesperson explained:

One of Jeff's favorite songs is 'Ferry Cross the Mersey' by Gerry and the Pacemakers.

Unfortunately his staff mixed up Liverpool and Hull so now his guests will only be able to take a ferry across the Humber.

Guests will be able to take selfies from the Humber road bridge and one of the nuptial ceremonies will be held at the famous Hull Acquarium.

Over 90 private jets are expected to land at the nearby former airbase, RAF Sutton on Hull, from which guests will be transported to Hull in a fleet of Jaguar cars, in memory of Hull's John "Two Jags" Prescott (RIP), a former UK deputy prime minister.

The Hull Travelodge, Premier Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels have been cleared of immigrants and block booked for the wedding guests to include 3 nights accommodation with a full English breakfast.
