Have you ever been on a Club Med holiday and had to look at other people's gnarly feet?

Then you will not welcome a proposed new law in France that aims to ban feet discrimination.

Now hotels, airlines and other travel-related businesses will no longer be able to discriminate against people with gnarly feet, including:

  • dracula length toenails
  • excessive toe hair (i.e. wolfman syndrome)
  • feet smelling of special preparation products
  • tattooed feet (e.g. pinky and perky)
  • feet misshapen by multiple corns and bunions

EU spokesperson, Ursula Von Richthofen, told FNN:

While there are many other matters that you might think are more important, like stopping the Ukraine war, we in the EU applaud France for banning feet discrimination, a horrific practice that impacts so many people with gnarly feet who just want to go about their lives without having to wear socks.
