Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) is in the news again after telling former BBC airhead Emily Maitlis to 'f**k off' over her questions about conspiracy theories.
Good for her. MTG for Veep!
As expected, the media is disgusted that former President Trump is now the Republican Party nominee after winning every state except Vermont and forcing Nikki Haley to drop out of the race.
What Cambridge educated Maitlis, now a 'podcaster' like so many of the 'populists' she seems to despise, simply does not understand is that conspiracy theories are a means to get to the truth. The more outrageous the conspiracy theory the better to demolish it and get to the truth.
A conspiracy theorist is nothing less than a truth seeker.
People who dismiss conspiracy theories are often the same people who parrot 'the science is settled' which belittles the purpose of 'science', is a contradiction in terms and simply nonsense.
So many in the MSM seem to 'dread' a second Trump presidency but should consider that Kierkegaard considered 'dread' to be a desire for what you fear.
So as Councillor Duxbury wisely said in the movie Billy Liar...think on't (go figure for American readers).
