Denmark boosts defence spending by £5.5bn

Denmark is increasing its defence budget by £5.5bn over the next two years to address military shortcomings, the country's prime minister has said.

Mette Frederiksen said the country needs a "massive rearmament" to avoid war.

The Danish defence ministry has reportedly placed a massive order with a specilaist firm that provides concrete chicanes that prevent cyclists from crossing the danish border.

A spokesperson explained:

Hvadfornoget! Never again will we allow our country to be invaded by enemies on bicycles like we did in 1940.

These chicanes will be essential to prevent a Russian invasion using their Kama bicycles to overpower us!
