A 'conspiracy theory' has started that UK assets were somehow involved in the Israeli strike on Doha, namely that an RAF tanker helped to refuel the Israeli bombers.

See this Patreon post - https://www.patreon.com/posts/whats-behind-raf-138599265 - for detailed comment on this whole remarkable event.

Some US commentators (e.g Judge Napolitano) were reporting UK refueling as a fact

It seems unlikely though as military aviation 'experts' have claimed that UK-Israeli refueling systems are incompatible.

Apparently, according to the 'fact checking' experts, the two main systems of mid-air refueling - probe-and-drogue and flying boom - are not supported by the RAF - only the former - which seems ridiculous in of itself.

Maybe it was payback after two Voyager aircraft were damaged at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire on 20 June by the now banned Paletinian Action group/

But why let these conspiracies run?

Instead all the MOD has to do is release a statement that explains exactly what the operational reasons were for why an RAF tanker was loitering over the UAE for 3 days at UK taxpayer expense, acting as if they were not sure exactly which day Israel would strike.

Maybe it was just a routine excercise like those reported here:

But if so, why not just say so, rather than fueling conspiracy theories?
