Sky News reports: Immigration is at a record high - so why are there still so many job vacancies?

FNN investigated this claim and found some surprising results:

  • the job roles with the most vacancies are Bacon Roll Filler at Greggs and Recycling Sorter at waste disposal dumps
  • the high-tech job roles with the most vacancies include online Black Friday Deal Finder and scam e-mail content writers
  • the jobs with the least vacancies include webcam 'model' and senior 'care-escort' where rates have plummeted

Much of the cross-channel migration managed by people smugglers is not for migrants to get work in the UK but because they have been promised a further crossing by boat to the USA via Acapulco and Tijuana, Mexico. This is a cruel hoax as people discover if they manage reach the ferry terminal at Fishguard before being 'recruited' by the Tiranian mafia.

The truth behind the contradiction appears to be that immigrants have realized that 'cost of living crisis' Britain is no longer the place to aim for and are scrambling to get a boat back to France or anywhere really. It's all very sad.

EU spokesperson Ursula von Richthofen told FNN:

Here in the EU we wil continue to uphold our value of freedom of movement. This means freedom for as many migrants as possible to move from the EU to the UK but not to come back. As the Duke of Brunswick said in the famous song:

Now if you are in you are in/
And if you are out you are out/
But if you are neither in nor out/
Then you are stuck in post-Brexit limbo.

It probably rhymes better in German.
