Remember all those ads in the back of US comics for X-Ray specs?
Well now they are here thanks to a partnership between Meta and Ray Ban.
A new range of sunglasses could use AI to augment-reality with all kinds of neat stuff including:
- AI nudification of anyone in front of you (including AI-created up-skirt panty-shots for the Japanese market!)
- Playing online games while you are driving or doing anything for that matter
- Showing porn while you are having sex (no need for Viagra!)
- Suggesting pick-up lines when you see someone desirable
- Figuring out how much all the gear someone is wearing is worth
Instead of everyone looking down at their phones for some inspiration - anything to quell the utter boredom of being alive in the world - now we will all be able to look straight ahead safe in the knowledge that a whole alternative 'metaverse' is being projected onto the inside of our sunglasses.
