Sky News reports that EU crisis management commissioner Hadja Lahbib:
...announced a new strategy for dealing with future disasters on Wednesday, Ms Lahbib said the threats currently facing Europeans "are more complex than ever, and they are all interconnected".
Apparently five of the greatest threats to Europe are:
- Joining 'coalitions of the willing'
- Nutcase politicians like Kaja Kallas
- Cutting welfare benefits in order to spend a fortune on weapons
- Net-zero and going green without going nuclear
- Spending more on US-supplied LPG
She said it was important to "make sure people have essential supplies for at least 72 hours in a crisis".
FNN recommends stocking up on:
- Bratwurst and curry sauce
- Bacon rolls and pork pies
- Toilet paper
She also referred to the need for specialised assets against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats.
These could include:
- a new, untested Novichok vaccine from a major pharmaceutical company that requires 3 doses otherwise you can't travel anywhere
- everyone to attend an NBC course at Porton Down, located in rolling countryside near the charming cathedral city of Salisbury
- a 'family coupon' to visit the Chernobyl theme park in Ukraine and chat with the babouskas still living there
