Sky News reported:

Britain is one of the "least work-oriented countries in the world", BrewDog co-founder James Watt has said.

He also suggested Britons need to end their obsession with "work-life balance".

As a result of suggesting more 'work-life integration' Watt has received death threats and plenty of online abuse.

Maybe what the UK needs is to emulate the Japanese Salaryman and Office Lady who frequently work 72 hours+ per week and can often be found sleeping on the sidewalks of Tokyo having missed the last train home.

In Japan, pulling a 'sickie' means throwing yourself in front of a train at Shinjuku station, not bunking off to attend the winter sales at IKEA or staying in bed after a night getting hammered.
