The Spectator reports under the headline Hasn't Gaza suffered enough?:

Proving that there is life beyond the Labour party, in both career and news terms, the White House has reportedly backed a plan for Tony Blair to lead a temporary government in the Gaza Strip. A self-proclaimed expert in promoting peace in the Middle East, the former prime minister would head up a body called the Gaza International Transitional Authority which would be mandated to rule the territory for up to five years. Gazans should count themselves lucky – we had him for ten.

Tony 'WMD' Blair - head of the Spare Change Foundation - is back as the proposed leader of the new Gaza theme park to be constructed after the existing Gaza is razed to the ground.

As part of its remit, the Transitional Authority is expected to offer free gender-change operations to any Palestinians who fancy a new identity and classes in graffitti offered by the New York Transit Authority.

This looks like just what Gaza needs for some peace and stability - a catholic leader who misled the British Parliament and backed the disastrously destabiling Iraq war.
