Starmer: I am going nowhere

To which the correct response is: Tell us something we don't already know!

He told Sky News:

I will also fight against the extremes in politics, on the Right and the Left, parties who want to tear our country apart. The Labour Party is only the party that can unite our country and our communities and we will line up together in that fight against the extremes of the Left and the Right for the values that we believe in.

It's not clear which is better: Tearing the country apart or burying it. In the end, voters will decide.

But in the meantime, the UK PM needs to resign now before he does any more damage.

He could probably get a plum-job in the EU - maybe directing the regime-change efforts to oust Orban in Hungary or leading the charge to steal Russian assets to underwrite the EU's €90 billion loan to Ukraine?

Never have the Beatles words been more appropriate:

He's a real nowhere man, sitting in his nowhere land, making all his nowhere plans for nobody.
