Sky News reports:

Searches for "money dysmorphia" have soared in the past year - climbing 136%.

But what is it? Why are people concerned about it? And is there a chance you suffer from it?

The term is used to describe a disconnect between someone's financial reality and their perception of how wealthy they are.

The world-famous money dysmorphia clinic in Switzerland, run by Dr Emile Schaffhausen, reports that the EU, UK and USA have all checked in for treatment.

The Doctor told FNN:

Vi haf noticed zat all zese countries display ze obvious signs of money dysmorphia including spending a fortune on weapons, running up unsustainable deficits and raiding pension funds to finance defence spending.

Zis cannot continue. My advice is:

  • stop hankering after the latest hypersonic missiles
  • track your spending and make a note of key spending habits so you know you are ready for a DOGE audit
  • only compare your financial situation to homeless people in the world's 4th largest economy - California
