The UK Climate Change Committee has submitted a report to the UK Parliament on:

Progress in adapting to climate change: 2025 report to Parliament

The report makes three key assessments:

  1. The UK’s preparations for climate change are inadequate.
  2. The Government has yet to change the UK’s inadequate approach to tackling climate risks.
  3. The Government must act without further delay to improve the national approach to climate resilience.

All the focus on 'net zero' is misplaced. What we should be focusing on is how to mitigate the climate change that is already happening by acknowledging what it is and its impacts and taking steps to mitigate the risks.

Nevermind Russia.

Illegal immigration and climate change are two of the biggest actual threats to UK society but the two we seem to be powerless to do anything about in realtime rather than by 2050.
