After British Airways lost Neath stunner Katherine Jenkins luggage before her scheduled Christmas concert in Rome, the Pope offered her a pair of his holy underpants and a string vest to perform in, which is all he normally wears under his silk robe.

Luckily this was not required as photos appeared online of baggage-handlers at Cardiff airport spotted wearing her dresses while loading a holiday flight to Tenerife.

Ms Jenkins clothing was recovered before the concert just in time for her to give a moving rendition of There'll Be A Welcome in the Hillsides and The Green, Green Grass of Home that reduced Cardinal Gareth Bale (of Merthyr Tydfil Methodist Church) to tears. This was followed by an encore of Goldfinger and Delilah that had the cardinals and choirboys bunga-bungaing in the aisles.

British Airways apologized for losing Ms Jenkins luggage for a second time and agreed to say 5000 hail marys to atone for their sins.
