According to Silicon Valley VC David Sacks, rendition is alive and well and operating in France after the French authorities arrested Telegram founder Pavel Durov at a Paris airport.

Something that even that 'devil' Putin declined to do despite not being a fan of Durov.

Sacks actually said: Using allied countries to circumvent First Amendment protections is the new Rendition.

Apparently Durov is running a criminal network while, let's say, mobile phone operators are not since everyone knows that terrorists don't use mobile phones to trigger criminal acts or even to explode remote devices.

How convenient, as the Church Lady might say.

Sacks has posted the succinct - 'One down. Three to go' - clearly referring to other potential targets like his friend Elon Musk who is well overdue a 'takedown' by the USA.

Let's hope Durov won't be subject to that well-known non-torture - waterboarding - like many other victims of US rendition.

But then luckily Durov is not a Boeing whistleblower or he might be dead already.
