King Charles has come in for criticism from none other than Bill and Ben the Flowerpot Men for not issuing an Easter message to plants.

Easter is an important date in the plant calendar so many were surprised that the King offered Muslims his best wishes for Ramadan but said nothing to his beloved plants.

Bill - or was it Ben - told FNN:

Little Weed and Slowcoach were particularly upset by the King's behaviour.

The plant community is already suffering from the rising cost of fertilizers so this latest blow was very hard to take.

The King sent his message in Oddle-Poddle - the official language of the plant community, which began with the customary greeting Haddap!
