The Times of Israel reports:

The American military has begun to move 12 F-22 stealth fighter jets toward the Middle East, after they were stationed at an airbase in the United Kingdom in recent days, according to open-source flight tracking data and aircraft spotters.

Obviously these fighters are being sent to Israel in preparation for an attack on Iran.

Yet only a few days ago, the Independent reported:

UK refusing to allow Trump to use RAF bases to attack Iran

The US president’s renewed criticism of the Chagos deal is reportedly because he is being blocked from using UK bases for a strike on Iran.

Apparently a UK government refusal is not worth the paper it's written on when it comes to the USA. It just can't resist participating in illegal wars in the Middle East.

Another blatant lie just to keep everyone happy and pretend that the UK is not supporting the build-up to another illegal war that will undoubtedly kill lots of Iranian civilians in the name of 'democracy' - just like in Iraq, Libya and Syria.

The newspaper said the Government’s position was due to concerns over a breach of international law, which does not distinguish between a nation carrying out an attack and one that provides support with “knowledge of the circumstances of the internationally wrongful act”.

The bases can only be used for military operations with prior consent from the Government and would need to comply with UK law and the country’s interpretation of relevant international law.

So apparently these 12 F22s taking off from the UK do comply with UK law and the country’s interpretation of relevant international law.

The trouble with countries being run by lawyers is that they lack any real morality and hide behind arcane 'interpretations' of international law - law that has already been shredded anyway over the last few decades and countries only use when it suits them - to justify their actions rather than put these decisions to the electorate in a referendum.

But that will never happen because they had their fingers burned with the Brexit referendum and they don't want any more examples of real democracy in action.
