RAF base in Cyprus hit by drone strike, Ministry of Defence says
There were no casualties, the Ministry of Defence said, but the base later announced it was moving families from the location.
Of course no-one knows where this drone came from - it could have come from Amazon or Israel.
It could also have come from Limassol given that Cyprus has plenty of immigrants from the Middle East and the Cypriots love the SBAs - of which Akrotiri is one - about as much as they love Turkish-occupied northern Cyprus.
A 'full-scale' and 'unprovoked' invasion that the UK did nothing to stop way-back in 1974.
But strange how this alleged drone strike came just an hour or so after the UK PM went on X to try to justify his U-Turn on letting the USA use UK bases for its illegal Iran action to help the UK defend itself from Iranian attacks.
Funny how that happens. Nah! Just a coincidence.
And also...

Starmer denies U-turn claims after giving go-ahead for US to use UK military for strikes on Iran
Sir Keir Starmer previously turned down a US request to use British bases for its campaign against Iran. But on Sunday, the PM said the nature of the request, and therefore the answer, had changed.
Now, after the F22s that took off from the UK that were probably used as part of the attack on Iran are doing their job, it's British assets that are threatened by the actions of the USA so we need their help to combat the blowback from their illegal Iran action!
You couldn't make this stuff up.
It's not a U-Turn, it's a total embarrassment for the UK's Airstrip One government.
And now that the UK government has admitted that it is supporting the USA, and obviously was when it said it wasn't, it wonders why Iran has a reason to attack it.
Just how many schoolgirls have to be killed before 'unprovoked' retaliation is justified?
Only the arcane legal mind of Barmy Starmy could come up with this nonsense.
As Greens leader Zack Polanski pointed out:
It took just one phone call from Donald Trump for Starmer to jump into yet another Middle East illegal war, failing to learn the lessons of the tragedies of Iraq, Libya and Syria," he said.
Time to cut the Gordian knot that the UK has put itself in. But who will be the UK's Alexander?
