The latest wheeze to resolve the UK's illegal immigration crisis is the use of 'return hubs' to process immigration applications.
According to Sky News:
It would see the government pay countries in the Balkans to take failed asylum seekers - a prospect ministers hope might discourage people from crossing the Channel in small boats.
A spokesperson explained:
The idea is to setup these return hubs to process immigrants safely and humanely.
The initial return hub will be run by Amazon, as they have a world-class returns operation.
Immigrants who are also Prime members will be fast-tracked through the process and get special benefits.
It's kinda like sending all your garbage to India for processing: Out of sight, out of mind.
