Dennis the Menace is to release his own physical 50p coin with the tagline: Blockchain is for blockheads!
It's really rather surprising that Dennis is still around in today's world of being kind and the outlawing of 'hate speech' and corporal punishment for children.
As Wikipedia says:
Dennis is the archetypal badly behaved schoolboy. The main recurring storyline throughout the years features his campaign of terror against a gang of "softies" (effeminate, well-behaved boys)...
Not sure what Stonewall would say about that and there's little doubt that Gnasher, his Abyssinian wire-haired tripe hound, would have been put down years ago for his menacing behaviour.
Today a 'campaign of terror' against 'softies' would be classed as bullying and not something a children's comic role-model should be doing.
But Dennis lives on and is a tribute to the fact that rebels are always popular with children and can ride the fickle cultural changes that come and go.
