Hungary is set to change its stance on backing the EU's monetary support for Ukraine in another triumph for EU values.

A spokesperson explained:

Orban would not support the latest funding for Ukraine so we told him that we would ruin the Hungarian economy and foment regime change in his country unless he toed the line.

That'll teach that right-wing bigot to mess with liberal values!

Naturally, when faced with the application of our much-respected EU values, Orban will cave and we'll get what we want!

It used to be that you needed tanks rolling into Budapest to influence the Hungarians. Now you only need EU values!

Which is a good job as we've given all our tanks to the Ukraine.

EU spokesperson Ursula Von Richhofen commented:

Here in Germany we call this Triumph des Willens.

These are the values that the UK bizarrely rejected when its sad and deluded people voted for Brexit. Idioten!
