John Mearsheimer uses an excellent 'Titanic' analogy to describe where the Iran war is heading - towards an iceberg.

Just like the unlucky passenger ship, thought to be unsinkable, the Trump administration leading the 'unbeatable' is on course for a collision with reality that will result in many unlucky people losing their lives.

As with the Titanic's unfortunate passengers, there is really no off-ramp: Stay on board and go down with the ship or jump into the freezing north Atlantic ocean.

But the band plays on.
