Admiral Lord West, the ex-First Sea Lord, warned that as a result, the UK was effectively already at war with Putin's country. 

Speaking to the Lord Speaker’s Corner podcast, Lord West said: 'It's quite difficult to see how one's going to get out of this [conflict] because one doesn't want a full war between NATO and Russia. 

'[Russia] would lose it - and the danger with them lost it is [AI garbage], would they then make that stupid mistake of going nuclear?'

Why would Russia go into a conventional war with NATO, today's proxy war is difficult enough, and just how can a nuclear armed nation allied with China 'lose' a future war?

This news must be written by AI because it doesn't make any sense.

Certainly Russia could lose a conventional against NATO backed by the might of the USA but it would be a phyrric victory after lots of European capitals are reduced to ashes by hypersonic missiles.
