US President Donald Trump has threatened to impose a 200% tariff on French wine and champagne after an aide for French President Emmanuel Macron said France "does not intend" to accept an invitation to join his new international "Board of Peace."

"Nobody wants him because he's going to be out of office very soon," Trump said after hearing from a reporter that Macron would likely not join the board.

"I'll put a 200% tariff on his wines and champagnes and he'll join, but he doesn't have to join," he said.

The Peace Board has already gone down like a lead balloon in Europe.

Hungary's Orban is on it and both Presidents Putin and Xi have been invited to join.

It would be pretty amazing if anyone from the current EU/UK establishment joined it given the ongoing crisis over Greenland.

Although that won't stop Tony Blair from the Spare Change Foundation.

Maybe someone will break ranks just to avoid the tariff threat and to please Big Daddy.
