The Obamas have finally broken their silence and formally endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.

A spokesperson explained:

Barack and Michelle have spent quality time reflecting on Kamala's record and character and are now happy to endorse her to become part of the latest Saturday Night Live (SNL) lineup.

They believe that this is a woman who will not be burdened by what she has been and bring new energy to the show with her infectious  laughter and lack of knowledge about anything significant - or insignificant for that matter.

The Obamas have already used their influence to secure Harris a multi-billion dollar contract for her political memoirs entitled:

Unburdened: How I managed to ditch a has-been to become President.

A potential bestseller if ever there was one.
